Home away from home in the busy Bangkok

   Sridhar Salian

For travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Bangkok, The Star of Sathorn is a perfect choice. From here, guests can enjoy easy access to all the liveliness the city has to offer. With its convenient location, the hotel offers easy access to the city’s must-see destinations.

From the moment we stepped into this beautifully decorated place, we were made to feel the welcome. The refreshing welcome drink, the smooth check-in into one of their tastefully themed and designed rooms and the warm greetings exchanged made us forget that we landed in a very new place far from home. Mrs. Jucy and husband, the owner couple, even made suggestions and helped us make reservations for our plans. The whole family was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was truly delicious. We loved the way they make note of the type and variety of food their guests would like to have and give the choice of dishes. We chose the traditional Thai foods during our stay and it was superb! We would love to go back to this place to savor these home-made Thai food varieties.

One should not miss tasting the delicious Thai food prepared by the owner, Mrs. Jucy herself. She is truly a super-talented lady who has not only designed the property stylishly but also a master-chef. Her homemade Pad Thai with shrimp and Chicken Green Curry made us fall in love with Thai food and we really miss it.
