My Story

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my blog, https://interludejourney.com/. My name is Sindhu, and I’m a program manager by day and a thrill-seeking adventurer by…well, also by day. I work remotely from a beautiful location close to nature, where I’ve been living a sustainable lifestyle for the past 1.5 years. When I’m not running between virtual meetings or strumming on my guitar strings, you can find me jetting off to new and exciting destinations, camera in hand and ready for anything. I call my blog Interlude Journey because travel is my ultimate interlude – a chance to break free from the mundane and fully immerse myself in new experiences, especially those invoking nature and sustainable living.

And boy, have I had some fantastic experiences. I’ve road-tripped through the moonscapes of Ladakh, sand dune-hunted in the unknown territories near Osian, screamed my heart out while skydiving in Queenstown, bungee jumped in the home of Bungy, explored the glow worm cave of Waitomo, white water rafting in the Ganga and Kali rivers, snorkeled and dived in the coral reefs of Lakshadweep, trekked through the Himalayas and Western Ghats, walked on glaciers, skied in Gulmarg, and even hovered over the sea and beaches of Karwar with a paramotor. Phew!

But as much as I love fully experiencing my travels in person, I also love reminiscing on past adventures and planning my next escapades from the comfort of my couch (or my cozy home office). That’s where Interlude Journey comes in – it’s my way of capturing and sharing my travel escapades, tips, tricks, and itineraries with anyone who might benefit from them. And, of course, I always prioritize nature and sustainable living in my travels. So go ahead, dive in and explore to your heart’s content. And don’t forget to follow me on social media for even more travel inspiration!

Happy travels!
