I happened to visit the Bannerghatta national park a fortnight back with my son.  Though the butterfly park was not much interesting, we loved the safari the most. As we drove in the caged vans into the safari enclosures, my son was excited to watch the animals roam in the greens.

Here are a few pics I took during the visit. I couldn’t click pictures of many animals as the zoo was very crowded and it was hard to get a proper view of the animals.

It was fun to watch the indian tiger fight and play in the pool

As I clicked some pictures of the animals and birds in the cages in the zoo, I wondered how majestic they would look in their natural habitat. I was also glad to know that the authority has made provisions for civilians to adopt the animals and birds on a yearly  basis. If any one of you is interested in adopting the animals in captivity, do get in touch with the authority at the zoo or on the official website of the national park.

I hope you enjoyed virtual tour of the Bannerghatta national park.  If  you wish to visit the National park,  you better  avoid the busy weekends and holidays. Also, remember that Tuesday is a weekly holiday at the national park.
